Week Eight ↠ June 13th - June 20th
"Cherish what makes you different" (Sadie Robertson).
Psalm 139: 13-14
13 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
God created us carefully, fearfully, and wonderfully. In return, we should fearfully and wonderfully cherish every part of us that makes us different because in the end, He is all that matters and His works are beautiful and wonderful.
Week Seven ↠ May 30th - June 6th
"Living in jealousy will cause you to miss out on some amazing moments" (Sadie Robertson).
You may begin to ask yourself "How can I not be jealous?" Well, we are here to tell you that you can CHOOSE not to be jealous. Focus on all the good in your life and be confident in who you are, rather than envying those around you. God didn't make us all the same for a reason. He intentionally made us all in our own unique way. And we need to embrace who we are, cherish the differences we have, and thank God for the person he has created us to be.
Week Six ↠ May 23rd - May 30th
Surround yourself with people who love, care, encourage, support, and appreciate you. It doesn’t matter who it is, how old they are, or what they look like. Allow yourself to accept people who give you life, but also give them life in return. In Sadie’s book she talks about her Mamaw and how she is a huge supporter in her life. She also talks about how she wants to do the same for others. If you have people in your life that treat you the way Sadie’s grandmother treats her, then we encourage you to return the favor, which includes, listen, care, support, love, and encourage those around you. “It will give you life to ‘do life’ with others.”
Week Five ↠ May 16th - May 23rd
“Relax and enjoy the good times God gives you.” (Sadie Robertson 53)
In society today we feel as if we can never catch up. Jobs, school, families, sports, etc. During these busy times we are always searching for a break and a time to relax. In addition, now that we are home during this pandemic, we are now blessed with a break and time to relax. We want you to remember that this “break” is time sent from God for you to focus on your life and cherish the good times He has given you. God has a plan for us. All we need to do is relax, enjoy, and thank God for what He is doing in our lives. What is one thing during this pandemic you have been able to cherish and enjoy?
Week Four ↠ May 9th - May 16th
“Do your words have power of life or death” (Sadie Robertson 35)
“The words of life give hope. The words of death cause despair” (Sadie Robertson 36)
In society today, people are afraid of being different and standing out. Try not to let the focus be on you because the focus is on God, who is in you.
We encourage you this week to find words that have power of life rather than death. Be someone where people can find peace, joy, love and beauty within you. You are so special and God loves you.
Week Three ↠ April 25th-May 2nd
This week we selected a part of the book that expresses a true meaning to life, which was, “If you’ve given your life to God, you have all you need.” Sometimes, we as humans forget to realize that God is everything we need in life. Growing up we tend to associate ourselves with the norms of society. With that being said, we tend to focus more on trying to create our own image, instead of appreciating the image that God carefully and intricately created for us. We want you to remember, you are not worthless. As Sadie Beautifully said, “you are loved, you are enough, you are seen, and you are known.”
Week Two ↠ April 18th-25th
As Brooke ✞ Taylor, we decided to experience Live together. This week we selected a part of the book that accelerated it’s way into our mind and hearts. That being, “Say yes to LIFE.” Jesus gave us his life, so that we could live ours. Let yourself conquer the darkness, don’t allow it to conquer you and who you are. This life, here on Earth is amazing and beautiful. God does not want us to sit in darkness, he wants us to be strong and courageous. God gifted us with this amazing gift of life, and he wants us to cherish this life because this is where we belong.
Darkness can sneak into our lives at any time, but what we want for you is, if you are feeling any type of darkness, please reach out to us via email. All email inquiries will remain confidential.
