Week Eight ↠ June 13th - June 20th
This week's photo was taken by Brooke. She chose a photo from her road trip up the coast of California. There is one part of the photo that she wants us to focus on, and that is, the long road. Think of the road as your life. We all have traveled a long road, it may not have been easy, but we are still here. We are here today because God was and still is walking the road with us, every step of the way.
Pslam 91:2-4
2 "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
Week Seven ↠ May 30th - June 6th
This week's photo was taken by Taylor. She decided to choose a beautiful photo from Big Bear. Before this photo was taken she experienced joy, amazement, love, and hope. God shows his love and beauty to us every day in many different ways. When you look at this photo you see mountains, trees, rocks, blue sky, etc. But as the photo was taken, Taylor heard the wind blowing, birds chirping, and she was instantly surrounded by the calmness of God. This week encourage you to visualize God's beauty in nature, but we also want you to LISTEN to it as well.
Week Six ↠ May 23rd -May 30th
This week we decided to choose a beautiful photo from the Central Coast of California. California is a beautiful state and has so much to offer. The one thing that really sticks out to us from this photo is all the beautiful shades of blue. Blue represents depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence. The color blue has such clear, positive effects on the mind and the body.
Week Five ↠ May 16th -May 23rd
We often forget how beautiful and powerful sunrises are. We usually focus our time waiting for the perfect “sunset” moment. The sunrise is so powerful because it is God’s way of telling us that he created a new day for us. God desires for us to know the truth about him and through that he wants everyone to be unified in that truth. Hold on to the new days He gives you and spread his love and truth to those around you. We encourage you to wake up one morning before sunrise and watch God present you with a new day.
Week Four ↠ May 9th -May 16th
Being stuck at home has been hard on everyone and we have not been given the chance to come together as a community to spread love, joy, or happiness. Lately, we focus more on being scared and worried about our futures, rather than appreciating or enjoying the beauty of God outdoors. This week God arranged something beyond beautiful. He showed us his love and beauty in the ocean, which allowed communities to come together again, by sharing his beauty with others.
Week Three ↠ April 25th-May 2nd
This week, as Brooke ✞ Taylor, we decided that we are thankful for God’s mountains. Mountains are beautifully made and many people are amazed by their beauty. For some people, when they see mountains, they experience Faith. Experiencing faith when looking at mountains, will allow you to expect good things to come. We are all experiencing an unexpected change in our lives right now, but we encourage you to go outside and experience nature. If you are not able to see mountains, try to find something else in nature and search for faith within that part of nature. Once you find Faith, remind yourself that things WILL get better.
“He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.” Psalm 95:4
Week Two ↠ April 18th-25th
This week, as Brooke ✞ Taylor, we decided that we are thankful for God’s sunsets. Sunsets have inspired people in so many ways. Sunsets are more than just a gorgeous piece of scenery. For some people, they experience Hope. Experiencing Hope in a sunset will allow you to accept that whatever struggles, or hardships you experienced today, will soon end. Draw your attention to tomorrow, because tomorrow will be greater.
Week One ↠ April 11th-18th
Do you ever just look outside and see God? Everyday we are reminded of God in his beautiful creation. Each week we want to share with you something we are thankful for in His creation.
The next time you walk outside or experience nature, we want to encourage you to start thanking God for his beauty.
